GENTLEMEN
GENTLEMEN
GentleMen, a short film presented by BOYS IN POLISH, explores the relationship between fathers and sons in this generation, touching on what masculinity is becoming and whether we need such a term in this day and age. Featuring three POC families, the film narrates the father’s hopes, dreams, and wishes for their sons, alongside a visual storytelling of their special and free spirited bonds.
The role of raising a child is so often
celebrated with women, that we
can forget to acknowledge fathers raising sons.
By breaking down the genders standards and
expectations we can begin to remove our own
gender biases. This short documentary aims to
tear down these concepts of what is, and isn't
belonging to a gender, and the beauty of a
father's relationship with his child.
